« Une femme et un homme, tous deux nés en Iran dans les années 60, exposent leurs peintures et sculptures à la galerie Taïss. Leur enfance est marquée par la chute de la monarchie du Shah en 1979 et l’établissement par l’Ayatollah Khomeiny de la république islamique. If the viewer could see, beyond the outward patterns, another one from his inner self, to take him not to other seasons and gardens here and there, but to another season and the garden trees of his unknown inner self, I would then say to myself that I have reached my goal , that these trees have been the seasons of my passage through my own inner self and therefore portray “a garden beyond”.

Dans cette exposition il sera question de « robes » où comme le dit l’aphorisme d’Héraclite « la nature aime se cacher », où cette puissance spontanée de création s’enrobe et se dérobe à la fois pour laisser « des énigmes et des incertitudes chatoyantes ». Les artistes vont droit à l’essentiel, au plus intime de ce vêtement qui est aussi le plus intime de soi, l’enveloppe où le corps se coule avec ses secrets, se donne une courbure pour rejoindre sa nature, sa part de nuit et de jour héritée à la naissance

C’est un mot au service du dessin, riche en condensations, un mot spectral avec son cortège de revenants, qui a tout pour fasciner avec ses sonorités proches de « subjectivité ».
